(NEW YORK, NY) Jan. 25, 2017 — The BIG3, the new, professional 3 on 3 half court basketball league, announced today the signings of Clyde Drexler, Rick Barry and Rick Mahorn as coaches. Drexler, Barry and Mahorn join Gary Payton, George “The Iceman” Gervin, and Allen Iverson, who is a player/coach, as coaches for the league’s inaugural season.

Launching June 24th, 2017, BIG3 is professional basketball league, played in a 3-on-3 format and featuring veteran NBA players like Allen Iverson, Rashard Lewis, Kenyon Martin, Mike Bibby and Chauncey Billups. Legends like Gary Payton and George Gervin will coach.

The BIG3 was co-founded by Ice Cube and Jeff Kwatinez. The league's President and Commissioner is former NBA Player's Association Deputy Executive Director Roger Mason Jr.

Lamar Odom says he's ON BOARD to team up with Smush Parker and Kobe Bryant for Ice Cube's 3-on-3 basketball league ... telling TMZ Sports, "I'm with it!"

Of course, this whole thing started with Smush telling us he thinks he and Kobe could have been the greatest back court in Lakers history if they would have gotten along better during their playing days.

The BIG3 basketball league added two more former NBA players to its growing roster Saturday, as Al Harrington and Ricky Davis have reportedly committed to play.

The three-on-three league, which rapper Ice Cube founded, is set to begin play in June.

 Per an official press release from BIG3, former NBA stars Allen Iverson, Chauncey Billups, Gary Payton and George Gervin are among those who have already agreed to take part.

The Indiana Pacers selected the 36-year-old Harrington in the first round of the 1998 NBA draft, and he went on to have a 16-year NBA career.
