(NEW YORK, NY) February 6, 2017 - The BIG3, the highly anticipated 3-on-3 professional basketball league, announced today the signings of players Kenny Anderson, Jamario Moon, Smush Parker, Ruben Patterson and Etan Thomas to the upcoming draft. This will be the first announcement of many introducing the BIG3’s extensive roster of committed draft players.

In case you didn’t know it, 3-on-3 basketball is the number one urban team sport in the world. FIBA, basketball’s international federation, continues its full-court press to get the half-court game into the Olympics. FIBA has been pushing to bring 3-on-3 from the streets to the world stage, and it’s getting close.

Well this summer, BIG3 will give the sport its biggest stage yet.

Sweet Lew and White Chocolate are back and it was announced today that both NBA Champions will play for the BIG3's 3 Headed Monsters team.  Rashard Lewis will be the team's Player Captain with Jason Williams acting as Player Co-Captain.

The two NBA veterans formerly played together for the Orlando Magic and represent one of the most anticipated teams in the league. In the upcoming BIG3 Combine, the two men will work together to select 3 additional players for the team. In the BIG3, there are no outside owners, so Lewis and Williams will guide the formation of team along with their coach.

The new 3-on-3 halfcourt basketball league founded by entertainment icon Ice Cube has signed NBA legends Rick Barry, Clyde Drexler and Rick Mahorn to serve as coaches.

The league, known as The BIG3 and scheduled to begin play in June, ‎announced Wednesday that Barry, Drexler and Mahorn will join Gary Payton, George Gervin and Allen Iverson as coaches -- with Iverson, at 41, scheduled to serve as player/coach for the league's inaugural season.
