The first trade of the 2018 season has been announced, as Trilogy has sent Dahntay Jones to 3’s Company in exchange for Derrick Byars.
Trilogy, the defending BIG3 champs, are 0-3 and in need of a scorer. They’ve scored 118 points through three games, seventh in the league. Byars, who has yet to play for 3’s Company this season, was tied for 10th in the league last season when he averaged 13.4 points per game with the Ball Hogs. He also hit 13 3-pointers, tied for fifth in the BIG3.
Byars was the 15th overall draft pick this year, but he’s yet to see action this season. He will be active Friday night when Trilogy faces the Killer 3s at Little Caesar’s Arena in Detroit.
Jones was the lone newcomer on Trilogy this season. In limited action, he’s got 10 points, 8 assists and 3 steals.
