After the second week of the BIG3’s 2022 season, there will be a few roster shakeups.
The 3 Headed Monsters have released big man AB N’Doye, who scored zero points and pulled down three rebounds in his two games with the team. Replacing him will be draft pool player Sammy Monroe, a 6’6 power forward who averaged 16.3 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 7.0 assists for Al Arabi in Qatar in their 2021-22 season.
Tri State has released Garlon Green, who scored three points and pulled down four rebounds in the first two weeks of the season. Replacing him will be draft pool player Ray Nixon, a 6’8 power forward who most recently played professionally for Finnish club Tampereen Pyrinto, where he averaged 13.3 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.
Bivouac Co-Captain Ike Diogu will reportedly no longer be with the team. Corey Brewer will be elevated into a Co-Captain spot, while Garlon Green, the brother of Bivouac Captain Gerald Green, will occupy Diogu’s roster spot. Diogu scored eight points and grabbed two rebounds during his time with Bivouac.
Elijah Stewart, who had an incredible performance in Week 2 against Bivouac, will be joining the New Orleans Pelicans’ Summer League team. He will miss the next two weeks of BIG3 action. Replacing him will be former NBA first-round draft pick Jordan Crawford, who played six NBA seasons and has also spent time in the G-League, China, Turkey, France, and Italy.
