Charlotte, NC – June 29, 2019
Young3 and BIG3 teamed up with Nancy Lieberman’s Dream Courts Charity to restore the local basketball court at Naomi Drenan Recreation Center during their stop in Charlotte, NC.
While Nancy wasn’t able to attend the event because of her BIG3 game that afternoon, Young3 president and former NBA/BIG3 vet Jerome Williams was in attendance with his Young3 staff.
“The history of basketball here in North Carolina is great, so many college basketball teams are here, and I can tell that the youth is super invested with this great sport.” proclaimed Williams, as over 60 kids from the local area showed up for an afternoon of hoops and making new friends.
We can’t thank the kids enough for showing up and hope they had a fun and memorable experience. Dream Courts are an incredible opportunity to spread love through the game of basketball and help leave communities a little nicer than we found them.
