Allen Iverson’s Philadelphia homecoming didn’t go as smoothly as planned, but Week 4 of the inaugural BIG3 season still produced its share of big-time action and fantastic finishes.

For the first time this season, all four games were decided by seven points or less. BIG3 scoring leader Rashard Lewis set a new single-game record with 30 points. Trilogy remained the league’s only unbeaten team, while Tri-State earned its first win of the season.

When Allen Iverson retired from the Philadelphia 76ers in 2013, he spoke at the press conference about the place he earned in Philly sports history – alongside fellow Sixers legend Julius Erving, a.k.a. Dr. J.

“People all the time tell me that it’s Doc and A.I. when you talk Philly basketball, and that’s one of the biggest compliments that someone can give you,” Iverson said at the time.
