Brian Scalabrine returns to the BIG3 in his role as captain of the Ball Hogs. Scalabrine was one of just nine players in the league last season to start every game, though he was content to spend more time on the bench working with Ball Hogs coach Rick Barry. He finished the season with 19 points, 23 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal.
Scalabrine is one of modern basketball’s most popular stars. After a standout career at USC, he became a fan favorite with his clutch shooting and on-court intensity. His NBA career featured stops with the New Jersey Nets, Boston Celtics and Chicago Bulls.
In addition to being a player-captain for the Ball Hogs, Scalabrine has also been a television analyst for the Celtics and co-host of “The Starting Lineup” on SiriusXM Radio where his basketball knowledge is one of the best in the business.
