Lasmanis, like team Captain Dusan Bulut, comes to the BIG3 with an impressive pedigree from playing FIBA 3X3 ball. His Latvian team won gold in the European Championships in 2017 and silver in 2018. The team won another silver medal at the 2019 World Championships before capturing Olympic Gold in Tokyo in 2020.
Individually, Lasmanis was the top scorer in the 2018 European Tournament and the 2020 Olympics.
