BIG3 Integrity Policy
GAMBLING
The League’s Gambling Integrity Policy strictly prohibits all League personnel, whether a League employee or contractor, from participating in or facilitating any form of gambling related to any League game, practice, or exhibition. For the avoidance of doubt, no League employee or contractor shall bet, either directly or indirectly, or instruct, permit, cause, or enable any third party to bet, on any League game.
MISCONDUCT
League personnel are also prohibited from engaging in any of the following gambling-related activities, regardless of whether such activities are legal:
- Accepting a bribe or agreeing to throw or fix a game or illegally influence its outcome, statistics, or score;
- Failing promptly to report any bribe offer or any attempt to throw or fix a game or to illegally influence its outcome, statistics, or score;
- Sharing confidential information regarding any game or any player’s or coach’s status for or performance in any game without authorization or for the purpose of enabling or facilitating gambling.
Should any League personnel be found to be in violation of this policy, the League will immediately conduct a thorough review. The penalties for violation of this policy may include a fine, suspension, and/or permanent disqualification from further involvement with the League.
