#1 Seed: Tri-State
Tri-State finished the regular season with a big win over the reigning champion Triplets. Tri-State has been getting strong contributions from the whole roster. In week 8 they had 4 players in double digit scoring. The Tri-State big men have been playing better and better as the season has gone along. Earl Clark and Larry Sanders are both making an impact on offense and defense. Sanders has three blocks in the last two games and is a strong rim protector for Tri-State. The mid-season addition of Justin Dentmon has also been a huge boost for Tri-State. Dentmon has been knocking down shots from the outside and been a strong playmaker in his time on the court. Jason Richardson is having a strong season averaging 16 points per game and nine rebounds. Nate Robinson has also picked up his play down the stretch this season and he gives Tri-State a burst of energy when he is on the floor. As the number one seed Tri-State matches up with a strong Trilogy team in the first round of the playoffs.
#2 Seed: Triplets
Triplets were on top of the standings the whole season until the final week. Triplets have lost two of their last three, but remain one of the favorites to win the championship. Iso Joe is having another MVP like season averaging 23 points per game, 10 rebounds, and four assists. Jannero Pargo and Alan Anderson have stepped up as the season has progressed. In week 7, Alan Anderson scored 22 points and made five 3 pointers. Triplets are still a dangerous team that pose a real threat to win the championship. Any team with Joe Johnson is going to have a fighting chance taking on whoever is in their way. Triplets have a tough matchup with 3 Headed Monsters in round one of the playoffs.
#3 Seed: 3 Headed Monsters
3 Headed Monsters are rounding into form at the right time of the season. They have won three in a row on the back of strong games from Reggie Evans and Kevin Murphy. Murphy is one of five players in the BIG3 to average more than 20 points per game this season. Reggie Evans leads the league in rebounding and is top six in total points scored. Rashard Lewis is always a scoring threat to add to the weapons that 3 Headed Monsters have. 3 Headed Monsters have a tough game with the Triplets in round one, and they will look to get payback from the regular season loss to the reigning champs.
#4 Seed: Trilogy
Trilogy have looked like one of the strongest teams in the BIG3 all season. Jarrett Jack has been a consistent force on offense averaging 19.7 points per game. Trilogy also have a very capable scorer in Isaiah Briscoe that can go get his own shot whenever he wants to. Trilogy lost their last game of the season to Killer 3’s, but still have a real chance of taking down the top seeded Tri-State. James White is a very underrated part of the Trilogy roster. White brings strong defense and the ability to stretch the floor on offense. Amir Johnson also chips in consistently on both offense and defense. Trilogy have a tough matchup with the surging Tri-State team that is hungry to make the championship.
