After last Thursday’s draft, the 2018 BIG3 rosters are locked and loaded. The season tips off June 22 at the Toyota Center in Houston.
In addition to the players that were drafted Thursday, the league also filled the remaining co-captain openings. The 3-Headed Monsters named newcomer Damien Wilkens. The Ball Hogs brought in DeShawn Stevenson, who played for Power last season.
Unlike other leagues, where it might be easier to predict who will be contenders, much of the BIG3 will have a very different look. Between new co-captains and the players taken in the draft, 21 of the 48 players that are on 2018 rosters are new to the league.
Trilogy brings back its entire team from last year, when they went undefeated and captured the championship. Since Rashad McCants was promoted to co-captain, Trilogy added one new player, Dahntay Jones. The remaining seven teams all have at least two new faces on the 2018 rosters.
