“Give Them Some Love,” Stephen A. Smith Talks BIG3 On First Take.

Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman debated Cube’s recent tweets about this past weekend and they dished out some significant credit to our co-founder and the league.

On the show, Stephen A. Smith said “Support it! You know, speak about it. Give them some love. I think Ice Cube and the BIG3 as a league deserves that (credit) not just from the NBA but from all of us and they’ll certainly get that love from me.”

Max Kellerman added “Ice Cube saw a need in the marketplace that wasn’t being met and he supplied it….he’s done a great job with it.”

People are starting to take notice of the innovations in the BIG3 whether it be the one-shot free throws, the four-point circle, a 14-second shot clock, always ending on a game winner, having players as captains and most recently the “bring the fire” rule. League’s will continue to try and take what we’ve done and implement it, but we’re appreciative that guys like Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman are recognizing our league.
