Both teams are coming off wins in the first game of the season. New faces made names for themselves in their BIG3 debuts helping their teams to victories. This game is set to be a battle in week 2. Trilogy and 3 Headed Monsters both have high hopes for the rest of the 2021 season.
First year head coach Stephen Jackson was able to pull out a win with a new roster in week 1. Isaiah Briscoe was the standout from the game dropping 28 points and 6 rebounds. New captain of the Trilogy, Jarrett Jack, chipped in 15 points. Even though it has only been 1 game Briscoe is looking like a steal from the draft being the 5th pick of the second round.
3 Headed Monsters got a convincing win in week 1 against Tri-State. Kevin Murphy led the scoring with 19 points. Captain of the Monsters Rashard Lewis chipped in a double double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. They had some some sloppy moments in their first game, which the Monsters will look to clean up against the Trilogy in week 2.
Both teams are looking to start their season 2-0 after strong week 1 performances.

Power (1-0) vs Triplets (1-0)

Captains: Cuttino Mobley (Power) and Joe Johnson (Triplets)
It’s the BIG3 Game of the Week. Both teams are coming off solid wins in week 1. These teams are seemingly going to be powerhouses in the 2021 BIG3 season.
Cuttino Mobley for the Power weighed on experience and knocked down 6 three pointers and 1 four pointer. He led the Power to a narrow in over the enemies, scoring 26 points in the process. Royce White also chipped in a double double with 13 and 11 for the Power in week 1. The Power will have to grind out another game if they want to get a win against the Triplets in week 2.
The reigning champs did not disappoint in week 1. They got a convincing win led by MVP Iso Joe. He dropped 27 points and 12 rebounds. He also took home Microsoft player of the week honors for week 1. Jannero Pargo also had a solid game with 16 points. The Triplets cruised to a win in week 1 over Bivouac winning by 12 points, but week 2 poses a whole new threat to the team everyone wants to beat.

Captains: Franklin Session (Killer 3’s) and DerMarr Johnson (3’s Company)
Neither team wants to start the season (0-2). 3’s Company will need to find some scoring outside of Jeremy Pargo. The Killer 3’s were a one man show in week 1 with Donte Greene leading the way. Both teams will be looking for their other stars to get involved week 2.
3’s Company lost a tough game against the Ball Hogs in week 1. Jeremy Pargo scored 16 points and made 2 four pointers. The shots just weren’t falling for most of the team in week 1. DerMarr Johnson and Drew Gooden will look to get more involved in week 2.
Killer 3’s lost to the Trilogy in week 1. They couldn’t find an answer for Isaiah Briscoe and Jarrett Jack. They now have to find a way to contain the sharpshooter in Jeremy Pargo. Donte Greene scored 26 points and had 6 rebounds in week 1 for the Killer 3’s. Frank Nitty will look to step up in week 2 if the Killer 3’s want to get a win on the board and avoid starting (0-2).

Enemies (0-1) Vs Ghost Ballers (1-0)

Captains: Nick Young (Enemies) and Ricky Davis (Ghost Ballers)
After a slow start in week 1, Enemies look to put Cuttino Mobley and Power behind them and focus on the Ghost Ballers for week 2. First pick of the 2021 BIG3 SuperDraft Isaiah Austin played like he was a number one draft pick. Austin came away with 24 points and 7 rebounds in his debut in the BIG3. Elijah Stewart also added 11 points and 3 boards to the stat sheet. Head Coach Gilbert Arenas and Enemies expect to come out strong in week 2.
The Ghost Ballers played in the last game of week 1 and won 51-45 in a scrappy game that came down to the wire. Ghost Ballers Co-Captain Mike Taylor stole the show, pouring in 20 points and 6 assists in the win against the Aliens. Chris Johnson also chipped in 19 points and 2 blocks. Ricky Davis and Nick Young will be a fun matchup to watch for in week 2.

Tri-State (0-1) Vs Bivouac (0-1)

Captains: Nate Robinson (Tri-State) and Josh Smith (Bivouac)
Tri-State and Captain Nate Robinson expect to make a strong statement in week 2 against Bivouac. Newly Drafted Earl Clark led the team with 14 points and 3 boards in a week 1 loss against the 3 Headed Monsters. Jason Richardson also had 8 points and 8 rebounds last week. Tri-State hopes to slow down Will Bynum and their explosive offense Sunday, which will be exciting to watch.
Bivouac entered week 1 going up against the defending BIG Champions Triplets. Joe Johnson stole the show in week 1 and poured in 27 points. Will Bynum led Bivouac in points with 23 and had 9 boards. Josh Smith also had 6 points and 10 rebounds in the loss. After a slow start, Coach Reggie Thues and Bivouac plan to come out strong in week 2 against Tri-State.

Ball Hogs (1-0) vs Aliens (0-1)

Captains: Brian Scalabrine (Ball Hogs) and Greg Oden (Aliens)
After an amazing start in week 1 the Ball Hogs look to stay hot in week 2 following the win against 3’s Company in week 1. Newly acquired Leandro Barbosa was unstoppable in week 1 for the Ball Hogs adding 22 points, 5 boards and 5 assists in his BIG3 debut. Jodie Meeks also added 18 points and 5 boards in the win. Ball Hogs look to stay strong after an impressive win last week.
Captain Greg oden and the Aliens look to get back in the win column following last week’s close loss to the Ghost Ballers. The Aliens’ first round pick Renaldo Balkman played as expected, he came away with 14 points and 14 boards adding a double-double to his BIG3 resume. Brandon Rush added 8 points and 6 rebounds to the stat sheet Saturday. The Aliens plan to bounce back following the close week 1 loss.
The last time these two teams faced off, Aliens won 51-39. Greg Oden had 18 points and 5 rebounds in the win. Will McDonald added 10 points and 8 rebounds to the stat sheet that game. Ball Hogs vs Aliens will be an exciting matchup to watch for in week 2.
