GHOST BALLERS (2-1) VS BALL HOGS (2-1)
Saturday July 31st, American Airlines Center, Dallas. 3PM ET CBS
Captains: Ricky Davis (Ghost Ballers) and Brian Scalabrine (Ball Hogs)
Both teams took their first loss of the season in week 3. Ghost Ballers had a chippy matchup with Tri-State that got away from them when Mike Taylor was ejected for his second technical foul. Ball Hogs had a strong game from Leandro Barbosa, but it wasn’t enough to take down Power.
Mike Taylor had 19 points and 7 rebounds before he was ejected. He is the energy of the Ghost Ballers so losing him late in the game cost them the win. Chris Johnson also couldn’t get it going in week 3, finishing with 6 points. Ricky Davis had 10 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in the game.
Leandro Barbosa had 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the week 3 loss for the Ball Hogs. Jodie Meeks had 16 points and Will McDonald had a double double, but they only got scoring from those three players. Scalabrine and Hawes will look to get more involved in a tough week 4 matchup with the Ghost Ballers.
Both teams are looking to get out to a (3-1) start to the season keeping themselves in the top end of the standings.

KILLER 3’S (1-2) VS POWER (2-1)
Saturday July 31st, American Airlines Center, Dallas. 3PM ET CBS
Captains: Franklin Session (Killer 3’s) and Cuttino Mobley (Power)
Both teams got a win in week 3 of the BIG3 season. Killer 3’s got a come from behind victory after a poster from Frank Nitty to get their first win of the season. Power got back into the win column with an impressive win over the undefeated Ball Hogs. Cuttino Mobley went down late with a leg injury. Killer 3’s got into the win column for the first time this season against the Aliens. The Killer 3’s were down early and headed for an (0-3) start, then Frank Nitty threw down a monster jam which completely changed the momentum. Donte Greene had 21 points and 4 rebounds in the game. CJ Watson also provided a spark off the bench for the Killer 3’s with 11 points and 2 steals.
Power were in need of a win in week 3 and they delivered. They used their size against a smaller Ball Hogs team to dominate the paint. Power were able to fend off a strong effort from Leandro Barbosa and get the win. Royce White and Joe Alexander each had 14 points in the game. Cuttino Mobley chipped in 10 points before he was injured late in the game. The Power are in for a tough game in week 4 if Mobley can’t suit up.
Power are looking to stay near the top of the standings and Killer 3’s are looking to get back to .500.

TRIPLETS (3-0) VS ENEMIES (1-2)

Captains: Joe Johnson (Triplets) and Nick Young (Enemies)
Both teams are coming off wins in week 3. Triplets got another strong win against the undefeated Trilogy. Enemies got their first win of the season against Bivouac so they will look to keep that momentum rolling in week 4 against the defending champs.
Triplets moved to (3-0) on the back of another MVP like performance from Joe Johnson. Iso Joe had 26 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 assists in the win. Jannero Pargo and Alan Anderson each chipped in 10 and 9 points to the win. The Triplets have looked like the championship team we all remember so they will look to keep the wins rolling in week 4 in Dallas.
Enemies got their first win of the season against a struggling Bivouac team. Perry Jones led the way with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Jones also hit the game winning 4 pointer to seal the win for the Enemies. Elijah Stewart and Nick Young both chipped in 13 points in the win. Enemies were able to get the win with their leading scorer Isaiah Austin only dropping 6 points. Enemies have the talent to give Triplets some trouble come week 4.
Triplets want to continue their undefeated season and Enemies want to spoil that party and get back to (2-2)

Tri-State (2-1) vs 3’s Company (1-2)

Captains: Nate Robinson (Tri-State) and DerMarr Johnson (3’s Company)
Tri-State comes into week 4 ranked 4th on the BIG3 Power Rankings, knocking off Ghost Ballers in a heated finish. 3’s Company on the other hand lost a close one down the stretch to 3 Headed Monsters in week 4. Both teams coming off big games in week 3, expect to see the same in week 4.
Coach Dr. J and Tri-State came into week 3 prepared for a battle. The 2-0 Ghost Ballers were playing exceptionally well these last two weeks. Tri-State won 50-42 beating the Ballers and adding a win to the column. Jason Richardson led all scores with 22 points and 9 rebounds. Earl Clark also pitched in 9 points and 9 boards in the game. Tri-State looking to keep the same energy they had in week 3 and carry over to week 4.
3’s Company battled it out with the 3 Headed Monsters in week 3 and ended in a close game. 3 Headed Monsters ended it up on top, winning 50-46. Player of the Week nominee Kevin Murphy, finished with 24 points in the game. Jeremy Pargo finished with 14 points. Mario Chalmers also added 13 points and 4 rebounds to the stat sheet. Coach Cooper and 3’s Company are ready for week 4 in Dallas, will be exciting to watch.

Trilogy (2-1) vs Aliens (1-2)

Captains: Jarrett Jack (Trilogy) and Greg Oden (Aliens)
Jarrett Jack and Trilogy battled it out with Triplets in week 3. The Triplets won the game 51-44. Trilogy looked to bounce back after being handed their first loss of the season. Head Coach Rick Mahorn and Aliens have their eyes on a better start in week 4 after losing a close one down the stretch to Killer 3’s. Killer 3’s pulled out the win beating Aliens 50-47.
Two undefeated teams entered week 3 playing against each other, Triplets and Trilogy. Trilogy looked strong in the beginning, but Joe Johnson had other plans. Johnson finished with 26 points and 12 rebounds in the game. Trilogy Captain Jarrett Jack led his team with 18 points and 4 boards. James White also made a strong contribution in the game with 11 points and 5 rebounds. Trilogy plans to come out strong and put the loss behind them.
Aliens enter week 4 in a must win scenario, having not won a game all year. Head Coach Rick Mahorn is prepared for Jarrett Jack and the fast paced offense. Aliens lost last week to Killer 3’s 50-47. Aliens Brandon Rush led the team with 22 points and 7 rebounds. Andre Owens also pitched in 15 points and 8 boards in the game. Aliens look to get their first win of the season coming into a big week 4 matchup.

Captains: Rashard Lewis (3 Headed Monsters) and Josh Smith (Bivouac)
The 3 Headed Monsters enter week 4 coming off a big win against 3’s Company in week 3. The Monsters look to keep the same energy into week 4 after beating 3’s Company 50-46. On the other hand Bivouac looks to get their first win of the season after falling to 0-3. Bivouac lost last week to Enemies 50-34. Bivouac hopes for a better start in week 3, after struggling these last 3 weeks.
The 3 Headed Monsters played well in week 3, as a team they only had 4 turnovers. The Monsters rookie Kevin Murphy, led all scores with 24 points and 2 rebounds and finished the game with a fadeaway from the elbow. Reggie Evans added a double-double to his BIG3 stat sheet in week 3, adding 12 points and 13 rebounds. The Monsters look to improve after the win in week 3 and keep the same drive in week 4.
Coach Reggie Theus and Bivouac have started off slow in the BIG3 this year losing all contests so far. Bivouac lost last week to Enemies 50-34. Will Bynum led the team with 14 points and 1 rebound. Josh Smith also added 10 points and 1 board in the game before leaving in the 2md
half with an injury. Bivouac is in a must win scenario the rest of the season, will be an exciting finish the rest of the way,
The Monsters look to improve on their win last week, while Bivouac looks to get win #1 on Season 4 of the BIG3.
