Iso Joe wins back to back Microsoft Player of the Week honors to start the season. He beat out Leandro Barbosa (Ball Hogs), Jason Richardson (Tri-State), and Mike Taylor (Ghost Ballers).
Joe Johnson stepped it up another level after a dominant week 1. In week 2 he broke the single game scoring record in the BIG3 with 34 points carrying the Triplets to a narrow victory over Power. Johnson also added 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals.
The stats don’t tell the whole story, though. The Triplets were down by 10 when Joe put the whole team on his back. A key steal off of Royce White and a fade away 3 that sent Joe to the floor pulled the momentum towards the Triplets when they needed it most. He drilled the game winning 3 pointer to ice the game.
If Iso Joe can keep this up, another BIG3 MVP and possible Championship will be right around the corner.
