What does Michael Beasley do on the court? Pretty much whatever he feels like. He’s got the size to bang inside. He has balletic footwork around the basket. He’s got one of the deepest bags in the league, and can use his dribble to set himself up for a jumper at any time. Even though he’s a lefty, he’s extremely comfortable going to his right. He has a vast array of runners and floaters from both the left and right side of the basket. And if none of that is working for him, he’ll just pull up – he’s got range all the way out to the four-point circle.
All that is how Michael Beasley, who has been a walking bucket for every single team he’s played on both in and out of the NBA, was able to score 21.6 points per game this year and was voted by the BIG3 coaches and players as the winner of the 2023 Too Hard to Guard Award. Congrats to B-Easy, who will almost certainly be back to give more defenders headaches next season
