Back in 2019, Kemba Walker said he could see himself playing in the BIG3 once he was done playing in the NBA. Fast forward six years later and Walker is officially set to play his first season in the league as a Co-Captain of the Chicago Triplets.
Cardiac Kemba is most memorably known for his time at the University of Connecticut, where he carried the Huskies to a Big East title, and ultimaitely, a National Championship during the 2011 season. That incredible run not only ended in a championship but Walker was named the Final Four Most Outstanding Player and First Team All-American.
Walker went on to be a lottery pick in the 2011 NBA Draft to the Charlotte Hornets and has recorded the most points in franchise history. Following his storied career in Charlotte, Walker went on to play with the Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks. Across his 12 seasons, he was a 4x All-Star and name dto the 2019 All-NBA Third Team.
Most recently, Walker played one season in France for AS Monaco before heading back to Charlotte as a player development coach.
