The Aliens, the BIG3’s most international-friendly squad, unsurprisingly looked overseas again when it came time to reinforce their roster with a pair of BIG3 rookies.
Mushidi comes to the BIG3 after professional stints in France, Serbia, and Germany. He’s best described as a pure shooter. He takes more shots from beyond the arc than inside of it, and makes a lot of those deep shots. Mushidi thrives in the catch-and-shoot game. He has a knack for spotting up where the defense isn’t paying attention. He stays “shot-ready” – when he gets a kickout pass and has room to shoot it, that ball is going up, and, more than likely, going in.
He can handle the ball in pick-and-roll or isolation situations, but he’s still a shooter first, and is mostly looking for the defense to give him enough room to launch a pull-up or step-back.
With the way Aliens can move the ball, Mushidi will likely get the ball in his favored spots a good amount. If he can consistently reward good ball movement with a three-point bucket, Aliens fans will be a very happy bunch.
