Mike Taylor is entering his second season with the BIG3 as co-captain of the Ghost Ballers, A third-round pick in the 2019 BIG3 draft, Taylor was the team’s second-leading scorer, averaging 8.4 points per game. He also ranked second in rebounds, assists, steals and blocks, and led the team with a pair of four-point field goals in five attempts.
Taylor was born in Chicago, IL and raised in Milwaukee, WI. He attended Chipola College, where he ranked 38th-best JUCO standout in the country. His team won state and finished fourth in the nation his first year. He went on to attend Iowa State where he led his team in scoring and was honored team MVP for the 2006-2007 season. Taylor would then go on to play in the D-League for the Idaho Stampede, where he won a championship and proved himself worthy of the 55th overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, becoming the first player in NBA history to be drafted from the D-League.
Since then, Taylor has played in the NBA and overseas where he’s won a combined total of 7 championships in Poland, Lebanon, Qatar, Korea and Libya.
