Mike Taylor will return to the BIG3 as co-captain of the Ghost Ballers. Taylor had an outstanding 2021 season, averaging 20 points and 5.8 rebounds per game before suffering an injury in Week 6 of the season.
Taylor was born in Chicago, IL and raised in Milwaukee, WI. He attended Chipola College, where he was ranked as the 38th-best JUCO player in the country. His team won state and finished fourth in the nation his first year. He went on to attend Iowa State, where he led his team in scoring and was named the team MVP in the 2006-07 season.
Taylor would then go on to play in the D-League for the Idaho Stampede He won a championship with the Stampede and ended up being taken with 55th overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, becoming the first player in NBA history to be drafted from the D-League.
Since then, Taylor has played in the NBA and overseas, where he’s won a combined total of 7 championships in Poland, Lebanon, Qatar, Korea and Libya.
