After going undrafted in the 2019 BIG3 Draft, Woods was picked up by Ball Hogs before being traded to Trilogy for Sam Young Week 6. This is Qyntel’s second season with the BIG3.
Woods was a community college standout in Tennessee who became a first-round NBA Draft pick, selected 21st overall by the Portland Trail Blazers in 2002. He played four seasons in the NBA, with the Trail Blazers, Miami Heat and New York Knicks. In 167 career NBA games, Woods averaged 4.1 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. Woods went on to play professionally in Greece, where he was the 2008 Greek All-Star Game Slam Dunk champion, and in Poland, where he won three championships and was the 2010 Polish League MVP.
