New to the scene, it’s safe to say you can expect a lot from the Ball Hogs’ Co-Captain during his rookie year.
Scotty Hopson spent a memorable three seasons at the Univeristy of Tennessee before his 13-year professional career took place. He’s had brief stints with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Cleveland Cavailiers, and Dallas Mavericks but got a ton of buckets in the G-League for various teams, including the OKC Blue where he scored a franchise-high 52 points in a single game. Additionally, his pro career has seen him play all over the world in ountries like Israel, Turkey, China, Austrailia, and the Phillipines.
During his time overseas, he won a NBL Championship and was named All-NBL second team. Hopson’s a tall wing that can score over smaller defenders and bang with bigger players when needed – similar to his teammate Kevin Murphy.
