Metta Sandiford-Artest won’t compete in the BIG3 for the 2021 season.
The Trilogy drafted Sandiford-Artest with the 9th pick in the first round of the BIG3 SuperDraft, but he won’t compete this season. He will be replaced by Qyntel Woods who played for the Trilogy for the second half of the 2019 season.
The Trilogy roster with the change is captain, Jarrett Jack, Co-Captains Amir Johnson and James White, and Isaiah Briscoe with Qyntel Woods.
Qyntel Woods brings 4 NBA and 2 BIG3 seasons of experience with him to the new Trilogy roster. He’s previously played for both the Ball Hogs and Trilogy.
While Metta’s star power and skills on the half-court will be missed, The Trilogy are definitely still a team to look out for this season with the new additions they have made.
After going 4-4 last year, the new look Trilogy make their season 4 debut against the Franklin Session and the Killer 3’s.
