Ryan Hollins says he works like, “PB&J” with Mario Chalmers in the pick-and-roll.

Ryan Hollins and Will Hanley of the BIG3 went live on Instagram for an interview.
Ryan Hollins enters his third season in the BIG3 by joining a new team, the 3’s Company. He was the 4th pick of the second round of the BIG3 SuperDraft, but he brings a wealth of experience both in the NBA and in the BIG3. Hollins joined BIG3 for an interview to talk about his feelings on the upcoming BIG3 season.
Hollins is looking forward to his 3rd BIG3 season with his new team. Hollins and Mario Chalmers played together for the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2015-16 season so they already have chemistry. “Darn near all of my points [on the Memphis Grizzlies] came off Mario Chalmers in the pick-and-roll,” Hollins said.
Hollins has high praise for Craig Smith, Greg Oden, Cuttino Mobley, DeShawn Stevenson, and Joe Johnson when speaking of people who’s games have best translated to the BIG3 format.
When talking about hosting sports TV or radio shows Hollins said, “It’s so hard to do. And a lot of people don’t have the fortitude to form their own opinions… I always felt like I put in the time the work and the effort, so my opinions are valid.”
Hollins also wants more player representation in the media because they are the ones that are going out there and playing, so they have a unique view on how games have gone, whether they win or lose.
DerMarr Johnson and Drew Gooden are the only returning players for 3’s Company this season. They are joined by Mario Chalmers, Jeremy Pargo, and Ryan Hollins. With Chalmers running the point, this is definitely a team to look out for down the stretch this season.
Hollins also is an ESPN Analyst when he isn’t playing the BIG3.
