Hawkins has been successful everywhere he’s gone. The veteran guard has won championships in Italy and Turkey, has played in every season of the BIG3, and was one of the BIG3’s most prolific scorers in both 2017 and 2018. In fact, in 2018 Hawkins became the first player from the Draft Pool (in other words, not a Captain or Co-Captain) to finish in the Top 3 of MVP Voting.
Hawkins has one of the more unique stories in the BIG3. In the league’s inaugural season, players were required to have NBA experience to play in the league. However, Cube was so impressed with Hawkins’ game that he made an exception for him, opening the door for players without NBA experience in the following years.
