Ghost Ballers.
The Ghost Ballers got off to a 4-1 start in 2021, but finished 4-4 and missed the playoffs. Captain Ricky Davis and Coach George “The Iceman” Gervin will both be returning this year. Also returning to the roster will be Co-Captains Chris Johnson and Mike Taylor. The former may have more pure talent than anyone in the BIG3, and the latter almost certainly has the most confidence in the league – that’s what you need to become the first ever player to get drafted to the NBA from the G-League, as Taylor was.
Rounding out the roster will be new acquisitions Darnell Jackson and Jermaine Taylor. Jackson, who is listed at 253 pounds and has a silky-smooth jumper, should give coach Gervin the ability to tinker with lineups that include Johnson, who has the size of a big but the skill and shooting range of a wing. Jermaine Taylor, who suffered a career-threatening Achilles tear at the start of the 2019 season, will fortunately be returning to the Ghost Ballers’ roster for the 2022 season.
