2018 BIG3 Champion Cuttino Mobley – a.k.a. the “Cat” – returns as co-captain of Power after scoring the game winner in the championship game in 2018. Mobley’s role shifted from 2017 to 2018 due to Corey Maggette coming back from injury, but it didn’t change his ability to score or facilitate in Coach Lieberman’s system. He was an integral part of their championship run and will look to continue his impressive run of form from last season.
Mobley attended the University of Rhode Island and was selected in the second round of the 1998 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets. Mobley and backcourt mate Steve Francis formed one of the NBA’s best scoring duos during their time together in Houston. Mobley later signed with the Los Angeles Clippers and in 2006 helped lead them to their first playoff series victory since moving to California in 1978. Known for his cagey post-up game as well as his three-point prowess, Mobley averaged 16 ppg. across 12 stellar NBA seasons.
