James White was a key contributor in Trilogy’s undefeated run to the 2017 league championship. He was named the 2017 BIG3 Defensive Player of the Year. In 2018, White averaged 9.4 points and 4.6 rebounds per game while also being an effective defensive player all-season long.
Nicknamed “Flight 75” for his athleticism and dunking ability, White was the 31st overall draft pick in 2006, selected by the Portland Trail Blazers. White played parts of three seasons in the NBA, with the San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets and New York Knicks. He also played professionally overseas in Turkey, Russia, Italy and Iran.
In college, White played one season at the University of Florida before transferring to Cincinnati, where he became a three-year starter and was the Bearcats’ scoring leader (15.9 ppg) as a senior in 2005-06.
