Rashard Lewis returns to his role as captain of the 3-Headed Monsters, coming off a productive year as the team’s leading scorer. Lewis, who averaged 12.5 points per game, had an exceptional year, especially given the fact that he battled injuries in 2018. A prolific shooter, Lewis was also a team leader in rebounds (5.9 per game), assists (1.8 per game) and steals (0.4 per game), placing second in each metric. Lewis demonstrated his toughness and leadership in the 3 Headed Monsters’ third place victory over Power, racking up six assists—nearly half of his season total—and scoring a team-high 11 points.
In 2017, Lewis won the BIG3 Most Valuable Player and led the 3-Headed Monsters to a 6-2 record and an appearance in the inaugural championship game. Lewis won the BIG3 scoring title (21.3 ppg) and also finished third in rebounds (56), tied for eighth in assists (16) and third in blocks (6).
Lewis was a power-scorer in the NBA for the Orlando Magic, Washington Wizards, Miami Heat and, most notably, the Seattle SuperSonics. The two-time All-Star and NBA champion has had the attention of basketball fans since being named Mr. Basketball in high school and going straight to the NBA. Lewis most recently played for the Miami Heat, where he won an NBA title and was Miami’s top scorer off the bench on eight occasions.
